Kilovox
What exactly does Kilovox do? +
Kilovox by Henko Tech is a cloud-based AI platform that connects IoT sensors across your mining or energy site and turns the data into real-time ESG dashboards, automated compliance reports and AI-powered anomaly alerts. It monitors water quality, air quality, energy consumption, equipment health and environmental parameters — continuously, automatically, 24/7. Visit kilo-vox.com for more.
How much does Kilovox cost and how do I get started? +
We offer a 30-day paid pilot programme that lets you experience Kilovox at your site with minimal commitment. Pilots start from R15,000–R25,000 depending on scope and number of sensors. Book a free 30-minute demo first — contact sales@henkogroup.co.za or WhatsApp +27 82 301 7561.
Is Kilovox proven in the field? +
Yes. Kilovox is currently active at FerroFlow Washplant, Mooi Nooi, North West Province — integrated with RegenX's biological water treatment system. 47 sensors are live, monitoring water quality and process performance 24/7. The deployment delivered +18% improvement in tailings yield vs baseline. Kilovox was also showcased at Enlit Africa 2026 on the dtic Green Economy stand.
RegenX
What is bioremediation and why is it better than chemical treatment? +
Bioremediation uses naturally occurring microorganisms to break down contaminants and treat mine water. Unlike chemical dosing, it produces no secondary hazardous waste, has lower long-term OPEX, and is sustainable. RegenX designs, installs and operates biological treatment systems tailored to each site's water chemistry. Visit regen-x.co.za for full details.
Can RegenX help us with DWS compliance? +
Yes. RegenX systems are designed to achieve and maintain full compliance with Department of Water and Sanitation (DWS) effluent standards. Our Kilovox IoT integration provides real-time monitoring data that is audit-ready and regulatory-grade — making your DWS reporting continuous and automated rather than periodic and manual.
