Chief Executive Officer & Founder

Chenéz L. Henderson founded Henko Group in 2020 with a singular vision: to build an authentically 100% Black Women-Owned enterprise capable of delivering world-class integrated solutions across Africa's most critical industrial sectors.

Under her leadership, the group has grown into a nine-subsidiary conglomerate with a 1,500+ MW energy pipeline, active mining operations across 8+ sites in South Africa and Botswana, and internationally recognised technology platforms in Kilovox and RegenX.

In 2026 she presented Henko Energy's $1.8B CapEx portfolio to sovereign wealth funds and institutional investors at the BRICS PartNIR Forum in Xiamen, China — placing Henko Group firmly on the global investment map.

Germaine leads the day-to-day operational running of Henko Group globally. Having progressed from Executive Director to Group MD SADC and now GMD Global, he has been central to building the group's operational infrastructure — aligning teams across mining, energy, logistics and fuel supply, managing key client and supplier relationships, and ensuring every subsidiary delivers on Henko Group's standard of reliability and value.
